Our
2009-2010 Key Club year came to a quick end. This
year, your District Board, including the members of a
specialized committee, worked tirelessly to make the
weekend of March 19-21, 2010 the highlight of this year
of service. "Service Under the Big Top" was the
theme for the 2009-2010 Mo-Ark Key Club District
Leadership Conference.
More than 400 Key Clubbers from across the states of Missouri and Arkansas convened at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri. It was a weekend full of interesting forums, important elections, fun, and friendship that utilized all the energy of a big top circus. If you didn't attend the 2009-2010 Leadership Conference, please plan to join us next year for a weekend of a lifetime at the beautiful Lodge of Four Seasons on the Lake of the Ozarks. |
Kiwanis
International was founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan.
In the early years, members focused on business
networking. In 1916, Kiwanis became an international
organization with the creation of the Kiwanis Club of
Hamilton, Ontario. In 1919, the organization changed its
focus to service. By 1962, worldwide expansion was
approved. In 1987, women officially were allowed into
